Litigation and Civil Disputes

"Litigation" is a broad term that can encompass commencing court proceedings, or even just making a demand by a letter, negotiating, or mediating a dispute over legal rights - such as a right to payment under contract or the validity of a transaction influenced by unconscionable conduct, or a trespass.

Many disputes will resolve outside of Court, but preparing to fight is an important skill that a lawyer is trained for and experienced in. 

Not all disputes are about money, or only money. Depending on your circumstances, you might be be seeking different kinds of relief such as the recovery of an asset, a declaration, or even an injunction. 

In order to assess your options, it is critical that we consider all the information at your disposal and the risks to you in taking any given course of action.
