I am an independent legal practitioner providing legal services across a number of practice areas and general law to suit your needs - including sophisticated, comprehensive retainers for complex matters or discrete limited scope retainers to achieve an economical outcome suiting your circumstances.
If you have a dispute with someone - over property, a contract, your work, or a business - a lawyer can help you resolve that dispute cost efficiently, recover what you are owed, or mitigate a loss.
The Law in Queensland addressing domestic violence recognises the seriousness and impact that domestic violence has on individuals, families, and communities. A lawyer can help you navigate the process of applying, or responding to an application including appearing at a trial.
Separation is an experience that many face. The results can be serious and long term, especially for children.
To ensure that the best interests of children are put first, a lawyer can give you objective and experienced guidance dealing with the issues you and your family face.
Criminal and Traffic laws of Queensland can be complex, and the consequences can become serious very quickly.
To protect yourself from the worst possible outcomes and to understand your options, get professional advice.
Deciding what happens to your affairs once you pass away is a historical freedom in our legal system. The laws of succession in Queensland can be complex, and a Will prepared by a solicitor can give you peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out.
If you have need of an affidavit, or other legal documents, a lawyer can provide you with timely, professional assistance .
I am a lawyer and solicitor authorised to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and entitled to practice in the federal courts of Australia.

I have held a practising certificate since 2022 and worked at the firm Edgar & Wood Solicitors in Dalby Queensland for three years before commencing a sole practice in 2025 to accept matters directly.

Please send me an email at matthew.harradine@mwhlegal.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I am based in Toowoomba, Queensland. However, I travel and provide legal services across Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Dalby, Chinchilla, and Roma.
No. I operate a "paperless" practice so that I can pass on costs savings to you and take a more dynamic approach to meetings and the space of my work.
When we first make contact, I will look to arrange a future meeting or teleconference if appropriate.
I cannot provide an estimate for your matter until I know what is involved.
When you first contact me, I will aim to discuss with you the work that you need to be done and then provide an estimate depending on the complexity of your matter and the estimated time it will take for of that work to be performed.
An estimate will be recorded in a Costs Agreement.
I am more than happy to discuss with you a fixed fee, capped fee, or a payment plan arrangement depending on your circumstances.
For new non-urgent inquiries - please send an email or ask me at the outset about my fees so we can discuss what you are seeking or what issues you would like to get assistance with.
If your inquiry is simple and only for basic information, to discuss what services I offer, or my rates, or experience, you will not be invoiced.
I do not.
However, as part of scoping the work to be performed for you, I will discuss with you the issues, the risks, and what can be realistically achieved within your budget.
My rates are flexible, and I will discuss with you reduced rates depending on the complexity of the matter.
